This is the last real problem with my '52 SC. It is the "family" tractor that I got running after many years of sitting (and siezed).
The yoke part is actually sprung open and I would like to replace the part rather than fix or rebush it if I can find one. I think the cross piece is OK. It's just the yoke and the pin that are really buggered up. You can see that the "ball and socket" are damaged too but I think I can salvage those parts... Any ideas?

Nobody has suggestions for me? in reply to Crispin, 07-28-2005 05:39:18
I thought a parts tractor might come out of the woods or someone might "steer" me in the direction of replace or repair. The yoke isn't square anymore so a fix will be kinda screwy. I assume rather than trying to press cast iron back into shape, that I would bore it as is... Is this a rare part?
Thanks, C.

Crispin,

I've got the wide front as well, the ball and socket on mine does not look too healthy and I'd like to replace the assembly on mine. If you find any sources for the ball and socket I'd be interested as well.

Dan
