Hello everyone; I am new too the Case forum and to the world of finding parts for an old tractor. I have purchased A 1933 Case model co, even though they say they did not make any I have one per the description on the ser.# plate. I am having problems starting it with the crank some times it will some times it won't, starts every time when you pull it about five feet, there is gas dripping out of the bottom adjustment valve on the carburator when I try to hand crank it. What does this valve control? Also I would like to know where I can get, and what manuel gives you more information on old tractors like this. Will also be looking for parts and sheetmetal for the old tractor any good tips would be appreciated, thanks in advance for any information.

Your tractor is the orchard version of a Model "C", which has a lot of interchangable parts with the D-Series. (DC for example) If you are having trouble finding engine / transmission parts, you generally have better luck looking for DC parts.

Sounds to me like your float may be sticking, allowing the carb to fill up too quickly.

If you page DCTom, he can probably send you in the right direction for adjusting your carb. And I'm certain he has contacts for part, etc. You might try looking up Ed Axthelm for parts, and maybe John Davis for sheet metal. I don't have their phone numbers, but Tom probably does.
