Can anyone tell me where I can see a color picture of a 401? All can find are pictures of 400's. I would really like to see a good color picture of my model with a row crop front. Has anyone ever changed from a row crop to a wide front or is such a thing possible as the steering assembly looks very different? Thanks, Chris

The 411 I believe is the row crop or general purpose tractor.I have a 1955 400 that has a 411 on the vintage tag.I had a adjustable wide front on this tractor when I bought it have since taken it off and put the narrow front back on.If you are interested in a wide front I will sell you mine.Just cotact me at my e-mail address ([email protected]).A good repair manual will show you all the differant front ends Case put on the 400's.

I will assume that you are aware of two facts first the 401 is a 400 and that the 401 is a tricycle right? And if you need to contact some one with a 400 with a wide front you can contact Clyde King he has pics. In the summer of 97 OLD ABES. Hes located in Aberdeen, MD. Or may be Roger Link in Ridgland, WI he has well over, 100 machines, and is a CASE dealer.
I must add that Im a little rusty on the 400s (Pardon the Pun) and I cant for the life of me remember what magazine to reference.
