Found a tractor the other week in a salvage yard in MO. The tractor is a 312 he said it was one of 458 or so. Is this correct and what is the value of one? The tractor runs good but is in pretty rough shape. I have fixed up wrecks before but not a case. That just seems like a neat tractor and a low production # as well if that is correct. He is wanting 1800.00 for it. Thanks in advance.

I recently aquired a good running 312 and would like to restore. I am looking for any info, pics, parts, discussions on I can find. Thanks for the "one in 458" info.

The 312 is the high clearance version of the 300 series and is rare. You can get parts if you are patient. Side panels and grill parts, after market, are available. Only 7 of the diesel version were built but 458 is a very low number. Grab it if at all possible.

What about side panels for a case 311? Can you get them?

Drop a note to "dctom" on this Case forum. He will be able to share with all of us the detailed history of this Case tractor model. Oh, yeah, you better go buy that tractor first thing tomorrow morning. It won't be there very long.

Ive worked on my wife and thought it thru. I would love to have it but i couldnt get to it for a year or so. So its up for grabs. The tractor is at Ruscha Machinery the # on the pen is 417 498 6571. He has a ton of case stuff but not much green. Thats what i was looking for at the time. Good luck little Joe.

My dad has a 312 and years ago told me they were low production...I've forgotten the numbers since then. It's a good tractor. If someone answers with the production numbers that would be great. Probably worth some money if its complete even if it's banged up.

The tractor was only made 2 years (1956 and 1957). I see quite a few 310's and 311's, but not many 312's. The 351 may be the rarest of that series, I'm not sure? How bad is the sheet metal beat up? Does it have the side panels on it? Does it have a working instrument panel on it? They are no longer available. I gave $1,600 for my 311. It had a bad rod bearing and poor tires, but the sheet metal was in pretty good condition.

I'm not sure about the production numbers, but they seem to be a little on the scare side. Parts are a little hard to come by. $1800 does not seem to far out of line for the price.
