I paid $1700 for an 800 gas about 5 years ago. About two years after I got it, the orings on the bottom of the sleeves started to leak (pretty common on old tractors). Since the heads were rebuilt right before I got it, I pulled it apart, fixed the seals and put in rings. Engine is now perfect but my direct drive does not work. So I'll need to pull the tractor in half to find that problem. I'm not looking forward to it because the tractor is so massive.

It is a fun tractor to drive. Hydraulics work great. Power steering is excellent.
