Does anyone have an opinion on fuel injection cleaners? Do the cleaners do a good job or just a waste of money? Does the dye in the diesel fuel cause any problems?
Thanks in advance.

Add a couple of gallons of cheap ATF fluid to each tank this will clean every thing out nice and you will notice the differance quick.

Sorry if I already submitted this. I saw a power service conditioner that stated "no alcohol" so I don't know if the old advice stands. Considering the cost of diesel components I would consult a diesel shop for their opinion. Had a 400 case that got some crap in it and stuck the injectors, having no atf fluid, I put 2 stroke oil in the fuel, it worked!!

Power Service makes a great additive. It raise the cetane, lubes the inj. pump and cleans the injectors. I run it in my dodge ram, makes a huge difference. It is avail. at most parts shops like Autozone. My 2 cents

Watch out for alcohol in some conditioners. Alot of guys use Power Service for antigel in winter. The guys at Dakota Diesel told me to stay away from it, unless I liked paying for rebuilding injection pumps!! They said stanadyne and JD (maybe the same product) were good as they are all petroeleum products
