On my Case 1030, I have a problem of airbobles in the radiator. I have replaced all headgaskets
once (2 years ago) then after a while I wanted to start it but it wouldnt crank since the cylinder was full of water. It was the 3rd cylinder from
the front. So I replaced the midle gasket one more
time, 6 months ago, but it still have bobles in the radiator. Could it be the injectorsleeves? Any suggestions.... I had the heads machined the
first time they were off.
Best wishes from Denmark

First Iagree with Nedd on cracked ridge on sleeve. Had one on830 long time ago. Ithink i would look very close at sleeve whenhead is off an if i didnt see anything i would take head to shop an have it magnafluzed to be sure no crack is in head. If no crack then remove sleeve an inspect sleeve for cracked ridge or even apinhole in sleve . Your choice on what to do first. (note sent message earliwer but dont think you got it) Best wishes to you an Denmark an keep us informed.

Your sleeve is probably cracked. We have a couple of them. I'm not sure if it is the machining they did on the blocks but they tend to crack the upper lip of the sleeve. We have a '69 1030 and put an older block in and it helped. Haven't cracked one in 7 years.
