Could someone tell me the true difference between a DC3 and a DC4 also a DC2. Is there any literature or books with pictures that can help me identify the finer points of the DC"s. Thank you. From what I"ve read on this board maybe dctom will send me some info, that"s a compliment thank you.

DC_3 is a tricycle dual wheels, single wheel or adj. front axle DC-4 is a solid wide front axle and adj. rear axle, selling point of the DC was farmer could buy tricyle one to cultivate with and wide axle one for heavy field work. there is no such thing as a DC-2 tom

Tom, you forgot to mention the "D" so I'll add it to what I previously posted. The "D" is a version of the DC family with fixed wide axle in both front and rear and smaller rear tires.

A DC-4 is a DC with a fixed wide front and the DC-3 is the row crop version with dual narrow front wheels or single front wheel and also an adjustable wide front. Go to the Tractor Photos and do a search on Case DC and you should see all versions. Camboted posted a picture of the DC-4 they just finished restoring, one beautiful tractor, and he also posted on this board. Check it out.

Go Page 2 or by the time you look it could be Page 3 and find the topic 1954 DC-4 rebuild by Camboted and you can see the one they redid.
