I've got an 885. The decal on it reads "CASE DAVID BROWN 885". Great little tractor, pulls real well in low RPM, and only sips the fuel.

Further to my previous post, some info on the 885. In Australia they were listed as- 3 cyl 164 ci engine developing 51 HP, 43.2 PTO HP,37 drawbar HP,120Nm of torque @1400 RPM, Years of production 1971 to 1980, max oil flow 27 litres/min @2500 psi. They have a two speed live PTO through 2 stage clutch with 12f and 4r gears. Hope this helps you.

Just to add---they were an excellent little tractor which was capable of "punching way above their weight".WE had one here(David Brown)in Ireland for many years and it often pulled 6 ton carts back in the early eighties.Their is a club if you would like to see pictures of more and learn some more info.Type in David Brown tractor club on a serch engine and you will find it.
Regards,
John

Hi Dan.Your 885 is actualy a David Brown built in Meltham England between 1973 and 1982.It is 48hp.
David Brown tractors were bought by Tenneco which was the owner of Case.Part of the new agreement was that David Brown tractors were often sold as Case outside of Europe.
