I was asked to clean out a friends barn, back hidden in the corner was a case lawn tractor 108. The only thing missing is the padding on the seat. Very little rust all there and starts and runs good. Do have to replace the starter switch. Was thinking of restoring it or maybe selling.Every thing works but the lights, mows well. Good sound little tractor.

Tom,
Thanks for the tip! I realize that the 108 is a "cheap model, but the price was right and the condition decent. Hope you are doing well. Don

What parts are you looking for? The 108s aren't real popular and they were the cheaper model, but look close at them. They are still way better than the current MTDs (sold under one of 1000 different names). I have one that has moved snow in my driveway for the last 3 years with no problems.

I need the steering wheel, seat, front drive shaft and bearings and brake pads. Otherwise it is in decent shape. And you are right, it is superior to most of the junk you can get now!

A couple of years ago all that stuff (except maybe the brakepads) was available from Case or Ingersol. I had to put a new front shaft and bearings in mine. It wasn't cheap. Steering wheel and seat is the same as the rest of of the Case garden tractors, so they should be available used. I still had a little pad left on my brakes so I ended up shimming the pads out a little bit. The brake rotor is supposed to float on the shaft. Mine was froze to the shaft and I ruined it getting it off (to put axle bearings in). I built a new brake rotor on my lathe.
