A bad day with the 530

This morning I replaced the fuel line and secondary fuel filter and in so doing I got air in the injector system. Pulled the lines off the injectors and cranked the engine for a while, actually quite a while, until the lines shot a nice solid jet of fuel, reconnected and it still would not start. I got puffs of white vapor, not really smoke out the exhaust but no starting. Now, the starter quit working. When I turn the key nothing happens. When I short the poles on the starter, the starter motor turns but it does not engage the engine. I'm charging the battery back up in the hopes that that is it, but in general it is been one real frustrating day with this Case. My wife just said "Do you thing the seller got rid of it at the right time?"
Oh, also, discovered that there is a leak in the fuel tank as well.

If you take the fuel tank off, you can probably fix the leak with a little JB Weld. I had to do this on my 430 and it worked well.

I commented on the post below. As far as the leak,is it a hole or crack? If a hole you may be able to take a small sheet metal screw and plug it,seal the outside with silicone.

I'll have to take the tank off to see. It looks like it is at or around the right front mounting bolt. I found it after I got the fuel line leak fixed. The fuel line leaked so much that it obscured the tank leak. I'm more worried about getting the thing to start. Thanks

Ah try it tomorrow when the battery is fully charged, low battery is probably not cranking it fast enough to get the cylinder ignition temperature/pressure up.
