Hello! Went to the Wapakoneta, OH show on Saturday and was very impressed with the Cases there! It was especially nice to see a 351 in such great shape, since I just got one yesterday. It's a 350 (model 351) s/n 6081220, gas, adjustable wide front, tripl-range, with eagle hitch. Of course, the person who sold it to the owner before me had rigged up the tin on the front, since it's not the normal round piece that it should be. So my questions for you are: 1) Where can I find the front end tin, medallion and side curtains? 2) It runs good and was converted to 12 volt. Since I'd like for this to be a show tractor, should I have it "unconverted"? 3) I have a friend who is excellent with the mechanics, but not so much on the paint. Should I find a person with a booth who does auto painting to paint it and apply decals, or find a specific "tractor restorer"? 4) What are some sources for the gear knobs, gauges, etc.? 5) Does DCTOM or someone else have the build cards for this one and the 611-B below? 6) What are the production numbers for these and the 30 series tractors? I can't find any 30 series production numbers on this site nor in Peter Letourneau's Case Buyer's Guide book. I also have a 600B Orchard/Grove with COM and a hand clutch. It is model 611-B s/n 6095078. That would be my other show tractor, so I'm looking for the cowling and tin that it needs. Any ideas on where to find tin for that one? As the son of a Case man, and an amateur collector myself, I've learned a lot from this website and forum and appreciate the kindness of the people I've met here and in person. Thank you all for the assistance!
