Arms go up and down o.k. the problem is with the handle, when arms are down it is about 3 inches forward of the quadrant. I see no way of adjusting this arm, it can be moved 120 degrees, but that is way to much. Could someone have clocked the right shaft wrong in the housing? Arms have a notch and cannot be moved just a few degrees. Any Ideas? Russ

Russ, The link is MJ's website VA series manual. Hydraulics starts on page G7 D1 (click on page to enlarge). If all the shims are back in there as shown on page G7 D6, skip over to page G7 D13 > for adjustment and possible reshimming.

Just shimmed the actuating lever, and re-adjusted to .010, still has to much play but it is a lot better. Think everything including the handle and actuating lever are worn. Think I will build up arm with welder. Think that will work? Russ

I went thru, that, and see that the lever should not move over 1/16 of an inch before contacting the up and down plungers. Mines moves at least 1 inch, going to work on that, thanks..Russ
