Are parts from a 4JMA and 11JMA interchangable? They look alike and the cap seems to fit perfect, but will other parts cross over?

11 JMA is the part number for the bearing plate that the points fit on. There were other later style points to fit on the bearing plate that will work but you will need to use the cam that goes with those points also. There was also a later style bearing plate as used in the 41 mag that will work in the 4JMA mag also. I don't know what else you are asking about unless you have a 41 mag or one of the 4CAMA, 201CAMA, or 210CAMA aircraft versions and yes the caps from them will interchange and work. The aircraft mags just have wire holes going out the top for the radio shielded covers but will work on the tractor mags.
