I'm using you guys to post my first picture... I bought this tractor from my wife's uncle, it's been on the farm in the Adirondack Mountains since new. It sat outside (all the barns are gone) and siezed. With help from this board I got it running after a driveway rebuild (rings, hone, cleaning and $700 head rebuild). Running the throttle is my wife, the grandaughter, grandson on the choke and yours truly (the outlaw)on the jumpers. This was the first puff in 25 years and it started and idled perfectly. Didn't even check the timing...

The yoke that my wide front tilts in is shot. So bad that the spindles are raked forward like a chopper. I don't know whether to look for salvage parts or start working on reboring and bushing the existing yoke and cross piece. Ideas?

An SC is hard to kill, they just keep runnin' and runnin'. That and sentimental reasons is why I keep looking for one of a 53-54 vintage.
