I just found a nice straight 41 SC in a barn that hasn't been started in about 15 years. The motor is loose. The finders don't have any rust at all. The hood still has the chrome strips on it. It needs I rear rim The tires look good but they could be rotted out I couldn't see them that well. I thought the 41's had the exhaust through the hood but this one doesn't . It has a set of cultivators on it The owner wants me to make a offer for it What should I offer? Thank you

Larry, it sounds like you've found a real treasure there. I wish I had those cultivators.
I'd offer somewhere around 500 to 800. I don't think you'd lose anything on that.
If you put new tires onnit that would set you back... well, I'm sure you know how much tires cost.

Larry, I have foun that tractors sttting around will always need a rebuilt water pump 100 and carb rebuilt or exchanged 100 or better unless you can do the carb your self and get all the ports clean.
