Does anyone know where to find the 2 5/8" disc-type expansion plug (Welch plug) that goes in the end of the bull pinion shaft located in the brake housing? The 700, 800, and early 730 used this disc style plug instead of the flanged cup style plugs that the later 30 series use. The Case dealer said there is no part number indicated for the plug in their exploded view, it being listed as "expansion plug 2 5/8". The reason I cannot use the later style cup plug is because the shaft is not counterbored enough to drive in the part. It only has about 1/8" counterbore and thus requires the disc style plug.

Thanks for the tip--I found the same webpage, and after a phone call I was able to obtain one part as a sample (thanks be to God). Its nice to find there are still some helpful old-fashioned businesses around.
