I am looking for info on this tractor. What size engine does it have in it and would this make a good superfarm puller.
Thanks

The 1030 (451 CID) POWER CELL injection system just doesn't get the job done for serious tractor pulling. My 1030 with a turbo and a turned up pump is good for 145 horsepower. A direct injection system was standard on the 70 series Case tractors. Stick one of those motors in your 1030 and "Katie bar the door". With a good turbo and a little pump work, getting 300 plus horsepower is ease.

The 1030 comfortking weighs in at about 9500 lbs, they run a indirect injection 451 diesel. I watched one of these old mosters clean up in the farm stock class at a pull last fall, It will take some money to get this tractor comepetitive in the super farm class as the heads don't flow too well. To be comeptitive you might want to consider switching over to direct injection.

Can't say how it will do pulling but it has a 451 cu in engine, rated at a little over 100 hp.
