The crawler guys don't want to talk to me, so I'll try you case guys. I'm looking at changing the fan belt on my 310G dozer, just looking it over it looks like I need to tear off half the frontend to get at it. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.
Thanks, Dan

Sounds like a good solution. I think I will be going with a twist lock too until I have a reason to tear the radiator out and replace with a real belt. Thanks,
Ed

I used the twistlock belt on a Allis HD10. I had the same problem, having to tear half the front end off. The belt worked fine.

d hilbert, I used twist lock belt that I bought from mcmaster-carr on a lathe that was going to have to come apart to replace a belt, it worked great and saved me a pile of work. After I put it on a guy saw it and said he uses it on couple of his tractors, so I bought some for my sc, havent gotten that tractor done yet, but its worth a try. If you go to the mcmaster-carr website, look under power transmission, then click on v-belts, then click on twist lock to see the stuff. hope this helps, jstpa
