Hi, I work in a auto body shop and I guess everyone has there own way of doing things.I see no reason why you can"t sand blast the crawler as long as you make damn sure none of the sand gets inside the engine or transmission. I would not blast any of the tin(hood)because you could warp the metal. For tractors we"ve been using an epoxy primer(PPG Omni MP-170) then spraying enamel with hardener added. Case/IH dealer should have the enamel paint and a Carquest or Arnold Motor store will have the epoxy primer. Don L. at Rusty Acres might have your decals 1-507-433-0073 a.m. best time to call. Good Luck!
