I've got to find some parts for my new(to me)1940 Case RC. I'm looking for a brake band for rhe left side, and a brake pad for the belt pully.I could realy use the whole brake "paddle" for the belt pully, as the one thats on there is pretty well cobbled w/ weld. Any one spare any extra parts around ?

VERY nicely done, JR. I"m glad there"s so many people who feel that way about old tractors.

Arthur, have you tried Townline Equipment in Plainfield, NH? They have a couple of RCs there that they restored. The guys in the parts dept. have come through several times for me. They put me onto a Case guy over in Fairlee, VT who seems to have everything BUT RCs. They are a good resource.

You should be able to make your own brake pad for the belt pulley out of some asbestos material.
When/if you go to that website, check out the 2 RCs they have for sale. I bet you didn't realize that yours would be worth so much when you got it all fixed up, did you?
