Thanks Don an Tom Ichecked my 2390 batteries an realized they are 12volts hooked like you said. Guess that explains why it starts an my 930 an 830 are alittle slow.I still use 2 6volts in them. I needto pay more attention! I have them since new an have always replaced as origional. Other owner of 930 just called an reports after hooking up asyou said his tractor starts better than it did .thanks again

I have my 830 hooked up that way. The only thing that"s wrong is the battery cover won"t fit.

He will be very happy with the results. We changed our 930 over to 2 12 volts and it starts faster and in colder weather than before.

Just connect them positive to positive and ground both batterys. You will have to get extra cables to do this.
