I recently bought a 730 CASE diesel and was wondering what plow rating it had as to a 3 bot or 4 bot semi mount

I pull a semi mounted 4 bottom 16 inch case plow with our 730ck diesel and 730ck gas in 4th gear and very seldom need to shift down to 3rd. Bill

Hey Skip: Plowed many thousand acres on a 730 in clay. 4th gear with 3-16's, & 3rd gear with 4-16's. You will plow more ground in a day with the 3 bottoms.

I pulled an Oliver 4-16 semi-mounted plow for several years with my 1968 730 gas. I can't remember what gear I used; probably 3rd.
