I was going thur e-bay and came across a tractor..the seller says the tag say's MD 500 #8039298... Is this a 500 series....the tractor can be seen on E-bay # 7506070392 Sorry I don't know how to get the picture on this sight I THANK any and ALL advice on this.... Mark

Mark - I agree with all the comments posted so far. I have a 1954 500 Diesel. Mine is about ready for paint. I would have had it painted, but had to much fun plowing with it last fall. Plenty of power pulling a 4 bottem plow.

It should be a 1954 Case 500 diesel. Was Case's first diesel tractor. Has a 377 Case diesel in it. I had two of them listed on the yt auction and I didn't get much bid on the pair of them. The 500 was replaced with the 600 in 1957.
