Or does any one have a good gear & main shaft for the pump, Thanks.

Does any one have a good A40878 Its the bolt on pilot that goes on the converter & into the flywheel, Mine is wore on the inside where the locking sealing ring seals.
Than I need the input shaft & main drive gear for the shuttle pump that sits under the first cover.
There is no way to fix these parts & make then work & last is there?
Can you guys that have worked on these things help me out I would like to get this tractor together. Thanks

You can't just build up the shaft a little and put in a new key? Key failure is common on the shuttle pumps for the 530s and 580s, I've fixed a lot of them. The price you mention sounds insane, but I guess that how parts are getting to be. I just tried to buy the two o-rings where the shuttle pump connects (A7075) and Case says they are no longer available. I had to match them with some John Deere flat o-rings.

What is the new part number for the flat o-rings? My local industrial dealer could not find a good number for them. This did not make much sense since the pump and parts are available.
