I bought some parts from a Case SE Engine a few months back and there was a flywheel that looks like it activates by centrifugal force. It has two pivit points on the face where the clutch disc would normally contact and cast iron shoes that appear to expand. Is this thing of any value to somebody, because it sure won't do anything for me. I don't want to throw it away since it seems to be a pretty rare part.

Sounds like you have an engine out of an SP9 combine. They had a drive coupler that incorporated a spring cushion mechanism like you described. I can't think of any use for one.
