What do you fellow restorers out there use on headlight reflectors? I have good lenses, bulbs, and buckets, just need something to make the reflectors look good. Don't really plan to farm at night with the old LA.

You can buy new reflectors for the smaller lights, like the ones on the VAC tractors and Farmalls. I guess your LA still has the larger lights on it? I was told to use chrome spray paint as a re-coating.

I used the Eastwood paint on a '52 Pontiac parking light reflector. It isn't nearly as shiney as chrome but when the lights are on you can't tell which one has the paint and which one still has the original reflective material. Since it's covered up by the lens, unless you're a real purist, it does the job.

Take them down to your local chrome shop. Most medium to larger towns have one or more that does chrome plating for Hot Rodders. Have them Chrome or Nickle plated and polished.

Thanks for the input. Being a scotchman I'll try the chrome paint.
