Jonese,
Case called the field installed hitch for the va series tractors an eagle hitch even though it had ball ends instead of the eagle claw on the bottom draft links. Wheat Straw

Here is a VAC with the early add on eagle hitch. its on ebay for sale.

I think it would require switching the rear ends on early VAC which didn"t have that option availiable.

That one on ebay is a pre 1949 high pressure lift, I done forgot what Case called it.

The 1949 and later eagle hitch was low pressure with the hyd piston and rock shaft just aft and below the seat as in the pix.

Depends what year VA you have because a lot of the 1949 1950 tractors that did not come with the Eagle hitch do not have the rear end housing with the provision for mounting it. Sometimes you will have to drill and tap the torque tube for the oil feed and return. All VA's older than 1949 for sure had none of the provisions.

Most later tractors have the correct rear end and it is real straight forward. Case also offered a kit that included a bracket to mount a Eagle Hitch on a non Eagle hitch tractor but I have seen it only in a parts book.
