Help please?
I have a vac, in the parts book it shows 2 crankshaft thrush washers with three brass pins,
are both washers out side the block or one inside one out side the block?

Brian, I can't be certain this is good advice, I've only done the '50's VAC. Seems to me there was only 2 pins but I am probably wrong on that.

The inner thrust washer is installed between the crank throw and the forward bearing. The chamfered side of the thrust washer faces toward the rear of the engine.

The link is mj's web site. He has posted a VA manual. Click on the link and scroll down to page
