Case 646 Rear End

Does anyone know where I can find a Commutator and ring set for the hydraulic motor in the rear end of a Case 646 tractor? Case part# C-14834. For anyone who may not know, a 646 is a 16hp garden tractor with a factory front end loader and 3pt hitch. Quite a handy unit, but parts are hard to find. I have checked with several Ingersoll (case) dealers and Case-IH dealers and nobody can get it for me. The hydraulic motor is made by TRW/ Ross gear Div. I contacted TRW and they cant get it. TRW told me to contact Pace Mfg. so I did and they did me no good either. Maybe someone out there has a junk tractor with a good rear end or a spare motor they would part with. The same hydraulic motor is also used in Case 444,446,448 line of tractors. HELP!!

I have had some luck with Ingersoll Central Power, they are located in Minnesota. I believe they are the main distribution center for Ingersoll. I have contacted them about six months ago and they told me they had most of the parts for my 446. They don't have sheet medal, or frame parts but that does not appear to be a concern of yours anyway. Their number is 1-800-364-7938.

Thanks for the lead. While Ingersoll Central Power could not help me with the parts I need, they did hook me up with Leroy"s Farm and Lawn which is somewhere in Illinois. I dont have their phone # handy or I would post it for all to see. They had a used wheel motor for my 646 and sold it to me at a very reasonable price. They seem to have a decent selection of used parts if anyone is interested. Thanks again!
