My father , who passed away last year, had a case tractor that us kids want to restore and keep in the family. It was originally purchased by my grandfather . We aren't positive as to the year and make of it, but we believe it was bought in the late 50's. I believe there was a serial no plate on the instrument panel, but its gone now, all that is there now are two brads/rivets. It is a trycicle wheel, with the headlights mounted on the sides of the body up by the cab. there is a 350 faintly painted on the cowl in the front on each side. It is a gasoline-six cylinder. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,
Pete Bynum

that looks just like my dad's 312 except for the rear wheels. Does anybody know what the difference is? Specificaly, what does the 5 mean?
I thought 0 meant diesel, 1 meant gas in the second digit.

I think that is a 1957 350 (351) (57' the only year they made them). 164 CI 42 HP The sheet metal is the same as a 300 series so some reproduction parts are available. Mechanicly they are basicly the same as a 500B. The 350 is one of the rarest general purpose tractors in the clasic era. (not counting altenative fuels and high crop etc.) So they are somewhat valuable compared to the more common 300 series.

Take a picture with a digital camera and post it here. Without the serial number, that will get you the best info.

Where to post the picture? in reply to Tracy Brown, 03-16-2005 14:46:15
Tracy I have a pic taken of the tractor. It shows the front with the decal on it, but it also has myself and my nefews standing in front of it. The gallery states only complete pictures. I'm assuming that means only pics of tractors with no bodies/obstructions in front of them blocking the full view. Can you please advise me as to where to post the pic. ?

Thanks .

I would post it under "help identify" since that is what we're trying to do. I wouldn't worry about the folks in the pic - any view of the tractor will be helpful.

Look through the photo archives on this web site. It sounds like a 350 series, but I think it is a 4-cylinder engine. I think the 350 series was only made in 1957. With the tricycle front, it is probably a 351 model of the 350 series. It is a very desirable tractor for tractor competition pulling.

The 350 series just have a 350 decal on the sheet metal. The actual model number is a 351, 352, or what ever models they made. I have a 300 series tractor that has a 300 decal on the sheet metal. The tractor is a model 311. They made a 310, 311, 312, etc. in the 300 series.
