I have a fluid drive case 446 lawn tractor and when the tractor warms up and starts up a hill the motor doesn't lose speed but the tractor labors up a small grade. Any suggestions would help..

I am assuming that your 446 has a twin cylinder 16 HP Onan engine. Is this problem something that has just started happening. I know this is a very basic question, but from what you posted I would not rule out the possibility that your Governor is not working. If you have had the machine for a while and it was working before and have not messed around the throttle linkage than you may have a hydro problem, but I would rule out the simple things first.

Are you using 20w/40 motor oil that they call for?? If not that is more than likely the problem.
