This past weekend I lifted a 9 liter diesel with the tranny attached out of a large box truck. I was amazed at the lifting capability of the hoe on the 1964 530ck. Does anyone know the rough load limit on that model Case?

Alot. Don't know the actual capacity but i lifted a 1209 JD mower conditioner off the trailer. I don't have a book for the CK but I have one for the crawler version and it has a hydraulic lift capacity at ground level of 6200 lb and a 3750lb to maximum height. The capacity of the hoe is just as amazing, 2000lb with boom and dipper fully extended.

Wow..to be honest this old machine never ceases to amaze me...I'm trying to add on to the house and digging through clay and stone and just marveling at strenghth and capacity when it's clearly over 40 years old. I moved a mobile home about 50 feet in order to put in footers I couldn't believe my eyes. I appreciate your response to my question.
