there's a spool behind each solenoid i remove each solenoid to clean ,keep them in order, no they should not all be hot at the same time if you have a i& t manual page 53 in mine shows which clutch is applied such as low is c1 &c2 clutch pack the printed circuit board in the 96 series are prone to crack i suppose the 94 is the same around 120$.do the easy stuff first.

casetrader,i got a manuel and checked solenoids and activations and they were good as well as linkage adjustments.i replaced the board and now the engine binds up as soon as it cranks, i hit a nerve somewhere.before if you had the fuse out,it would pull forward gears. can you call me collect? any info would be greatly appriciated, thanks! 318-322-8080 Bennie

94 series tractors do not use pilot spools. They use electric solenoids to control the powershift. You will need to put pressure gage on each clutch to determine if it is a contol problem. If al pressures are correct at the right time then the tractor will have to be split overhaul the powershift Stan

Grumpy, you are correct, there is four solenoids. I also noted that all four of these is hot or powered at the same time. Are they supposed to be?Also i noted wires leading to the sigmatron board on the powershift panel has got hot. Does this electric or computor board control that? I appriciate any help you can forward.I sure would like to get a factory manuel on this.Do you have any leads on one? Thanks a million!!!
