I have a case that the only number I can find anywhere is on the engine it looks like the a 530 it was an old industrial air force tractor there is tag telling how to service a Case air compresser which I guess came on it it is a case-a matic the number on the engine is 294TO3436 can anyony tell me what size tractor or even the size engine that I have any help would be appreciated

The only thought that comes to mind is part of the numbers are marred, and the tractor is actually an 830 and the engine number starts; 284 because that would be the cubic inches of an 830 gas engine, were as a 530 engine is only 148 cubic inches. Maybe someone else has some ideals.

Check for an ID tag on the side of the dash.this is were case put them on the toters. Next let us know if on the tack, there is 530 & 630 PTO rpm settings one should be around 1900 and the other at 2000 RPM's there are some other sure signs to determine what it is but lets start here. Shaun
