need some advice from you guys. am looking at a 630 nf.it hasn"t run in four years. sat outside in fact. does have a flapper on the exhaust pipe..supposedly the brake is hung up on one side. when it did run it smoked alot. right now no anti freeze in the radiator.i don"t know if its free or stuck. will find out tomorrow.its a 1963.paint is so-so. if the case o matic has any problems,is it pricey to fix?what would be a fair offer.? rear tires i would say are 90 % thanks --frank

I got mine for $640. Sounds a lot like yours when I bought it. My engine was stuck but the trans was good. Did spend some money to fix the engine.

I would say go for it but do so as cheap as possible. The C-O-M is always a concern but I think there are some guys around this board that have rebuilt one & could help. The 630 was only around a few years I think, so it would be a good candidate. Myself, seems like too many times I have hesitated only to regret doing so. I have on my list a 630, 700, 800 & 900 (for now). Good luck.
