Rubber shift boot people like to pay 18.++ for on ebay you can get them from your case dealer using part # A26956 , Case list 10.92. Also:..... .fuel cap A26400 instock STPAUL
fuel cap gasket.... A31101 also in stock STPAUL. If your Case dealer won't order them send a email to parts@rushmore.com and use case parts as a subject.

Hey caseman-d: You are fortunate to have a dealer sell @ List. Just checked with my dealer, $12.98 plus $5.00 shipping because they don't stock it. Then it's 18 miles to there to get it. We stock & sell the same boot from our store here for $15.00. The US made shift knob that we sell here for $3.49 is $17.54 plus shipping from the same dealer. They can't supply the switches that we sell for SC's & DC's.. My e-mail is unlocked if you want to order anything.

What switch are you referring to??? I thought I had gotten the ignition switch for the D series awhile back. I will double check. If we order on a stock order we don't charge frieght. Just if we daily order it and ship it to the customer.

Hey caseman-d: I was never offered the option of a stock order. Because they don't stock it, it was "special order". Probably a long wait for a monthly stock order. The switches I referred to are the Original style, exact duplicate, US made Ign. & Light Switches. We sell them here for $5.99 & $8.99.

John: Most dealers will let you place a stock order..most order weekly so it may take up to two weeks to get the part but it is a lot cheaper. You might try SC Hansen they have locations in south central NY and Albany and order on Wednesdays. Have done stock order with them for 3 years and usually takes less than 14 days....

Caseman, What model is the gas cap for? I ordered cap parts manual # G13271 from a Case dealer (fits VA series, 300, 300B & 400B). They cross-ref to D93757 and the cap had ears on like cheap junk from a cut rate auto supply. No way original, wouldn't even fit under the cover on the 311B.

Have you seen the A26400 cap? Is it like the original? I need 3 of them.

Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe: I also have the original gas cap for the Case 300 tractor. I would appreciate very much if you would post a picture of it so I can compare mine with yours. If it is the same, I will order 3 from caseman too! Joe

Joe, I haven't had any luck posting a decent pix on this board, just too dumb I guess. I can fwd e:mail the pix that I sent to Caseman if you want, let me know. Note that the A26400 cap that he refers to is for S,D, LA tractors. May be the same cap, don't know.

Hey Joe: Are you going to order the three gas caps that you need Part Number G13271? I ordered them from my Case dealer and they were just as you described and made in Mexico. They have the little wings on top. If you are going to order, can you please let me know if they are original Case gas caps. I need three for my Case 311. Thanks. Joe

When I left the dealership G13271 was on order, suppose to be a good nr. When the cap arrived a week later it was the elcheapo, p/n on the package was D93757. Didn't open it till I got home (90 mi). Could have been a temporary substitute.

Picked up cyl head torque extension CAS1257 at the same time $96 + S&H, it was Snap-on S8663B. I looked it up on the Snappy website $45 + S&H. The dealer probably bought it off the local truck.

I never went back, they handle nothing but rice burners now anyway.

I would sooner buy from someone who is honest like Saeli or Don L. I haven't bought anything from Caseman yet, but wouldn't hesitate one second.

Joe

The thing Caseman has goin' for him (and his customers) is that he owns, uses, and works on his Cases. How many times have you been neck-deep in a repair & sure wished you could have the engineer there that designed your problem? Or the parts man that ordered it in knowing darn well it was a POS? I have been to the dealer too many times, in working on my old Cases, ordered a part, received it in and it was in fact the old elcheapo version - maybe a "universal" type part - which I maybe could have gotten anywhere. I agree with you on these ol' boys like John Saeli or Don L. - at least I know there parts have been hand inspected and are more than likely an exact duplicate of the original. (Which, by the way, is just as good as an original to me.) I haven't bought from Caseman and prolly will someday just 'cause I think he is ahead of the curve on most parts guys, but I think John & Don & Ted deserve our business too. Where else you gonna get some of these parts?! Whether they are made here or not it is still the old-fashioned American way - find a niche & fill it.

Sorry - I'll get down now. :)

Well said Eb. I appreciate the support from all of you. One thing to remember, we all have a common bond, CASE, & the desire to preserve them. Men like Don L., Ed Axthelm, CASEPOWER,a bunch of others, & myself are just family men, trying to make a living. I've sent customers to all the above mentioned, & they've sent customers my way.

Joe,
Sorry I forgot to list what there for. The rubber boot fits most of the older tractors from the S series-800B and probably a few others. The gas cap is for the D series . Should also fit the S series.
