Original scale VAC Oil Pressure Gauge Availability

Hi all:

I have a set of the "Made in a place other than the U.S.A." gauges on my VAC. The problem is that the new oil pressure gauge has a first mark at 20 psi, and the VAC runs normal oil pressure in the neighborhood of 10-15 lbs.

I like the fresh gauges, but I'd also like to find a Case logo gauge that would report the oil pressure more closely to the center of the scale. Does anyone know if there are any available?

I have a original Case oil pressure gauge but it starts at 0 to 80 psi and also have an original amperes gauge with Case logo and this one reads -30 to +30

I have enjoyed following the restoration of your VAC. I am in the process of restoring a 49VAC myself. I was curious as to where you acquired the guages that you presently have mounted in the dash? There is a set for sale on ebay right now that closely resemble the ones that you used. Other than the oil pressure, have they served you well? Thanks Casey

I'm not sure I remember, but I think I bought them from V-a-l-u-B-i-l-t. It was way back then, before I had found other sources thorugh this board and other boards. I believe they are made in India, and they look and operate very well. At least good enough for me since this VAC has turned out to be my chore tractor. I should have my authentic Eagle hitch plow here this weekend, so I'll get to see if she can pull that! Probably ought to look around for some wheel weights now.....

Thanks for the info! You sure went all out for a chore tractor! I cant wait to get mine back together and do a few chores with it. Good luck with the plow, and again I have enjoyed following the restoration. Casey
