Is it a gas or diesel? I'm guessing it's around a 1975 model? I had an opportunity to purchase one a couple of years ago. It had a diesel engine that had been rebuilt, new rails, had a canopy, a winch (no 6-way blade) and lots and lots of hours on it. The owner was asking $6,000. Needed a new cutting edge on the blade. I didn't buy it because I was afraid the axles were shot. The splines on the axles wear where the drive sprocket attaches. You could see where there was movement between the two. This problem is particularly bad on the dozers with automatic transmissions. People jamb them into reverse before forward motion stops. But a dozer with only 900 hours, the axles should be in good shape.
