Hello everyone,

I am new here. Seems like alot of useful information in this forum. I am looking at buying a 995 Case David Brown. I like the tractor but one thing I have noticed about it is when the 3 Point Hitch picks up a heavy load the lift seems to quiver or jump up and down. Does anyone know what might be causing that and what it would take to fix this problem???

Thanks in advance!

Matt

I think the 995 has the same setup as the 990. Another cause could be if the load sensing cable is broken or jammed. This runs from the top link of the 3pt hitch back to the hydraulic control box behind the lift/lower control lever.

Mine broke and the hydraulics would go up and down as though they had a mind of their own.

Mine did the same until hydraulics went out completely. Turned out to be the bolt that held the pump gear had backed out. took off pto, cover with hoist and tighted bolt. Works fine for over 2 yrs. jim in tx/
