Identifying a VAC

I recently purchased a 1951 Case VAC(?) with a wide front end and a loader driven by a pump attached to the PTO in the back. I would like to specifically identify which model it is, and need help. The serial tag reads VA 5552343, which would indicate a 1951. If you can supply any further identification details to help me determine the specific model, or can direct me to a web site which will provide more info, please let me know. This is the first Case I have owned.
Thanks.

It is a VA not a VAC. It will have a non-adjustable front axle and probably 24" rear rubber. A VAC was a row crop tractor and this one (yours) was mainly for tillage where width was not so much of a concern. All part of the same tractor group however.

I agree: The early tractors (prior to models with numeric suffix attached) can be fitted with a VAC serial tag and be trike, narrow (row crop) or adj. wide front configurations. I have two tractors (1948 & '51) that are original adj. WFs and they have the VAC tag. I have another adj. WF that originally had a single or narrow front (clues to the change are component color fade difference and the lack of the crankshaft pulley notch that allowed the fan belt to pass the front bolster easily when changing belts) and it has the VAC tag. My '47 VAO is so marked and has the correct non-adj WF. I have 2 original single fronts, a '47 and a '48, and they both carry VAC tags. As an aside: Early VAOs had the flat floorboard ala VAC then went to the low-mount-straddle-the-transmission configuration some time in 1947 from what I've been able to determine.
