Anyone ever heard of a Late DC (foot clutch) with inserts instead of poured bearings.

The late LAs had inserts. Kind of makes sense the same change would apply to D series, but have not seen info to verify.

No, but I have guy in Cambodia, who pours babbit, that swears he can make some for my tractors. Haven't done it though. You know that the mains were inserts and only the rods were poured, right?

My e-mail is un-locked. Send me your address and I will send you a issue. I will post a up-date on the rods if I find anything out.
