My 940 CK is getting coolant in the oil. I notice it will leak some into it when setting for a while if I run it often it seems to stop leaking then after it sets it will seep some into the oil again. Last spring when I drain it a quart or better run out after useing it the previous summer and setting that winter. It never acts like it is getting water in the cyls it runs very well. Is a head gasket possible? Or what should I do?? :>/

Your O rings could be bad on the sleeves. I am overhauling my 930 and the orings on my sleeves were quite dried out and brittle. I was lucky though and my block was not pitted were the orings seat like you hear so much about.

I OVERHALLED MY 830 LAST YEAR.
I HAD THE RECRESS WHERE THE SLEEVE ARE SEATED TRUED UP, SHIMS ARE THEN ADDED TO BRING IT BACK TO CORRECT HEIGHT.
THE MAN THAT DID MY MACHINE WORK MADE INSERTS TO RESURFACE THE AREA WHERE THE O-RINGS SEAT.

Hey R. Wyler: "O" Rings available from CASE. A can of Bars Leaks or similar might work. It did for me once. Depends on when the sleeves were out last. If you pull them, you might as well Mike them for wear. .002 out of round & they are junk. If the bores are pitted, clean them & J-B-Weld them & hone them smooth. Sleeve & Piston sets are so economical that if I had to pull the sleeves, the ol'e girl is gonna get a new set.

Where are you getting sleeve and piston set that are so affordable? My Case-IH dealer wants $550.00 for two sleeves and two pistons; no rings.

I wonder that too, a couple years ago they were $240 per hole for 930 LP sleeves & pistons.
