I bought a set of 3116s for my 830 and was wondering if anyone knew the heat range on them. I have been using UD16 Champions. Tractor uses no oil and does everything from idleing to hard work so I don't want a very hot plug.

Throw the Champions away, if I remember the 3116 is what is in my 930 gas. Champ. D9's is what is called for in my 830 propane but I will NOT use Champions again

We have had the opposite around here. Our Case- IH dealer no longer handles Champion because of poor performance, they switched to Motorcraft. I personnally have not seen any real advantage from one brand to the next.

Autolite's are the only plugs we use around here. No more plug fouling with the 3116's. I wouldn't have a Champion on the place.
