Well, I got that plow bought on EBay. Now to get it home. I'll be needing some info along the way to get it on and adjusted properly. I hope I'll be able to identify it and maybe find a book on it.

I think in my sandy soil it ought to work nice!

Maybe I"ll finally get that little VAC warmed up!

Frank

Does that plow have the furrow wheel on the back? can't tell by the picture. I have one and it has one, hard to plow right without it. Some plows do use a long landside though on the back bottom, and that works.

I "borrowed" a photo from one of your previous posts. Could you tell me what the exact model of the plow in the picture is, because it sure looks like the one I bought. I think you refer to it as a "BER" model. Is there an added number to describe the 2 bottom, 12" spacing?

Also, if anyone knows of a source of an original or reprint manual I'd sure be interested.

Frank,

After the BER which is the model, the next # is the number of bottoms and the second # is the size of the plow . IE -- a BER20 is a 2 bottom 10 inch

-- a BER34 is a 3 bottom 14 inch

other letters added on are CX and CXE

CX is general purpose

CXE is stoney land

SX is slat bottom

and there are 8 other options
