I have a buddy with either a 1370 or 1570. How can we tell the difference (#'s, specific parts?)? Also I need a horse with this hp range and want to know what is a safe bet for investing in the tractor. It needs a sleeve job (antifreeze in the oil) and history isn't very well known. I'm estimating $2000 to get her going again... Thanks!

The 1570 does not have an intercooler. The only way I know to tell them apart is to look at the serial #. I have a good one for sale with poor rear tires;4900 hrs. I hope to get $8500 for it.

1370 has a normal intake manifold. 1570 has an intercooler. It"s two pieces bolted together, bigger than a manifold.

$2000 sounds conservative to me. Any damage to the bearings/crank from the anti-freeze? Glenn
