Help! My throttle won't stick!

My 930CK throttle won't stay in position at full throttle. I know there is a friction plate underneath the handle, but the new part that fits my serial # is discontinued. Is there any way to adjust it or put a different material in there? Or am I doomed to wedge a 2x4 between the foot throttle and the seat? Thanks in advance.

I got a friction disc for my Case 400 from a Massey Ferguson dealer. It is made to fit the 135 Massey. I don't know if it would fit your 930.

If Bill"s suggestion doesn"t help, cut out a piece of inner tube and place it next to the disk. This might help it grab enough to work.

Look close towards the bottom end of the steering column. You should be able to note where the the throttle linkage comes out of it. Tighten the nut on that linkage and that inturn will tighten up the disk, Unless your disc is totally bad you should be able to get it to tighten up some to help.
