Back years ago ( like early 70's) dad had a 930 round fenders, chain drive, that he put a M & W turbo kit on, It didn't have enough power to pull the chisel planter. Anyhow, it broke the camshaft 2 time for sure, mabey 3 or 4 times. I'm not sure where it broke at, but I know for sure it did break. Does anyone know why this would have happened? Not that its important now, but I'm still wondering. ( I was only 8 or 10 at the time so things aren't so clear).

Thanks in advance

Had a 930 just like yours . In the late 70's ours broke the camshaft also. I don't know how many hours were on it, but the drawbar hole had been warn out the back twice. I remember slipping a good size feeler gauge between the cam bushings and the cam. We replaced the cam bushings at that time, and it never did it again.
