Case Serial number worn off on tag

I am new to the case family and seem to have a problem with a 4 cly gas tractor

The serial number and model on the information tag is worn off. This tag was below the steering column.

Is there another place where this information is
stamped without going thru s/n of the engine, heads.....

Any help would be appreciated

Try the flange on the back of the engine where it bolts to the transmission (left sdie as you sit on the tractor. Scrap away at paint and grease there may be depending on the model a serial number stamped into the flange. Take a look at the photo section of this site to ID model..then we can be more help in finding serial numbers...or post a picture...
