i'm in eastcental SD and have been looking for a 1070 case for a couple of years now but they seem to be a rare breed around these parts, anyways i found a real nice looking 1690 case the other day. are they reliable? how much david brown are they? i've never been a big david brown fan but then again i never spent much time around them either. any help is greatly appreciated!!! thanks

Depends on what you want to do with it. For heavy drawbar work they are a damn poor example of a David Brown ever built. I have a customer with a 1690 and it has over 6000 hours on it now. Just uses it for light duty work, Feed Wagon, Square Baler, and Seed Drill etc. Try to find a good 2090 if you can!

One of the poorest Case tractors ever sold!!!!! NO comparison to 970 or 1070.

Hi: How much you willing to give for an excellent 1070 with 3200 actual hours, white in color and duals? Field ready. Ken
